Yes, both Zion National Park and Zion Lodge are open year-round.

To enter Zion National Park, all visitors must purchase a Standard Pass ($20-$35), or hold an Annual Pass, America the Beautiful Pass, Military Pass, or Lifetime Pass, even if you are a guest of Zion Lodge. Visit the park website to purchase a pass.

Winters in Zion National Park are typically mild, with temperatures ranging from 29° to 53°F. However, the park is known for its diverse weather conditions, which can vary significantly with elevation. Day and night temperatures may differ by over 30°F. Wi-Fi: Zion Lodge provides satellite Wi-Fi. Join the “Zion Lodge Free WiFi” network to get online. 
Cell Phone Service: Please consult your carrier prior to your arrival. Most of Zion National Park has limited cell service, so we advise providing your travel itinerary to an emergency point of contact to ensure your safety.

Fuel is available at multiple stations in Springdale, just outside the park’s South Entrance. However, fuel options are limited at the East Entrance. An electric vehicle charging station is conveniently located at Zion Lodge near the cabins in the south parking lot.

Check-in time is 4:00 PM. Check-out time is 11:00 AM, with group check-out at 10:00 AM. 

Yes, we can store your luggage if you arrive early. The hotel reception is open 24 hours a day.

All Accommodations:

• Air conditioning, full bath, comfortable bedding options.  
• Mini-fridge, radio/MP3 compatible alarm clocks, hairdryers, iron and ironing board, pod style coffee maker, access to rental bicycles.  
• Access to beautiful views and outdoor experiences.

Cabins:  

• Charming standalone 1920s-style accommodations with gas log fireplaces, private porches, and microwaves. No TV, Wi-Fi, or kitchen. Located near the main lodge with options for one queen or two double beds.

Lodge Suites:  

• Spacious rooms with a king-sized bed, private balcony, and sitting area. Equipped with a flat-screen TV, wet bar (small refrigerator, sink, and microwave). All suites are located on the second floor.

Lodge Rooms:  

• Relaxing rooms with private porches or balconies, a mini-fridge (but no microwave), and satellite TV. Options for one king or two queen beds. 

Cooking on hot plates, camping stoves, or similar devices is not allowed in any of the rooms, suites, or cabins at Zion Lodge. Cabins and Lodge Suites have microwaves and mini-fridges.

Yes, all rooms have pod-style coffee makers.

Cribs are available for an additional $7 per stay. Rollaway beds are available for an additional $25 per night. Please request them at the time of booking or at the front desk upon arrival.

Smoking is prohibited in all public areas, both inside and outside the hotel, and within 25 feet of all entrances. All guest rooms are designated as non-smoking. Additionally, the entire patio area is non-smoking.

Yes, all rooms are equipped with air conditioning for your comfort. 

Reservations can be made up to 13 months in advance. On the first of each month, we open bookings for the corresponding month of the following year (e.g., on March 1, 2027, reservations will open through March 31, 2028). We do not maintain a waitlist, and cancellations occur at random, so we recommend exploring alternate dates rather than relying on a cancellation.

Only reservations initially booked online can be modified or canceled through our online system.

Your existing reservation details, including room rate and amenities, will remain unchanged. If you have any questions or issues with your reservation, please contact Zion Lodge front desk at 435-772-7700. 

Additionally, all amenities and services will remain and we are excited to offer a new menu at the Rock Rock Grill featuring local flavors and season menu items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. 

Finally, to ensure a seamless guest experience during the transition period, separate billing procedures have been implemented for stays spanning across December 31st and January 1st

• Guests staying through the transition period will see two separate charges on their statement - Xanterra will process charges through December 31, while POWDR will handle charges from January 1 onward.
• For guest security and privacy, credit card information will not be shared between companies.
• All stays starting January 1 will have one charge from POWDR.

Reservations may be modified or canceled up to 48 hours prior to arrival. Late cancellations or no-shows result in forfeiture of deposits. No refunds for cancellations due to weather.

The nearest laundry, the Zion Park Laundry, is located in downtown Springdale. It is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

No, we do not have a fitness center or pool. However, as the only lodging inside the park, we offer unparalleled access to hiking trails right outside your door.
