Group Lodging: OverviewAt Zion Lodge, we are pleased to assist you with planning your group's visit. Group Lodging PoliciesWe are delighted to welcome groups requiring 10+ rooms. Complimentary RoomsWe are pleased to extend one complimentary room for every 20 paid rooms per bus. Group Tour ArrivalsFor group tour arrivals we do apply an optional $4.00 per person, round trip, baggage handling fee.
For group rooms we will charge a $1 per person, per night housekeeping gratuity.
ChildrenChildren under the age of 16 stay free when sharing the same room and existing bedding with an adult. Rooming ListsRooming lists must be received no later than 30 days prior to the group arrival. Groups may hold up to 10% of the group block as "TBAs" up to the day of arrival. However, all unassigned rooms will be released and the group will be charged the full room rate for the entire length of the group stay whether or not the rooms are occupied. DepositsA deposit of 50% of the total room and tax charges must be received no later than 3 months prior to the group's scheduled arrival. Final payment must be received no later than 30 days prior to the group's arrival date. If booked within three months of arrival, the first deposit will be due no later than 14 days from the date of booking. Final payment must be received no later than 30 days prior to the group's scheduled arrival date. Any of the payments described above not received by the applicable date, the group's reservation will be canceled automatically. Burden of proof of receipt of deposit is upon the group. All checks must be made payable to Xanterra Parks & Resorts. CancellationsCancellation and Liquidated Damages Policy: The group may cancel its reservation up to and including 30 days prior to the group's scheduled arrival date without charge and all deposits will be fully refunded. In the event of any cancellation made less than 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the group agrees that the hotel will suffer significant damages and that such damages are extremely difficult or impractical to determine. Therefore, the parties agree that if the group cancels its reservation or reduces by more than 10% the number of rooms reserved less than 30 days but more than 14 days prior to the groups scheduled arrival date, the customer will pay liquidated damages equal to one night's room charge for each room canceled. If the customer cancels its reservation or reduces the number of rooms reserved 14 days or less before the group's scheduled arrival, the group will pay liquidated damages equal to the room charge for each room canceled for each night for the entire length of the group's scheduled stay. All cancellations must be received in writing. No phone cancellations will be accepted or valid. OtherAll rates are rack, non-comissionable and must be paid in U.S. funds through a U.S. bank. We do require that all groups be accompanied by an escort who will accept complete responsibility for settlement of the master account, settlement of all incidentals and supervision of all group members.
