Message Regarding Possible Government Shutdown

Updated on January 18, 2018, at 12:04 p.m. Mountain Time

Our parent company, Xanterra, is monitoring the possible U.S. government shutdown and is communicating frequently with the National Park Service (NPS). We have received word that the gates to Zion National Park will remain open and we will be able continue to operate and honor all lodging reservations, even if the government shuts down.

If a government shutdown does occur and the status of park remaining open changes, we will be in contact with you via email to advise you of the situation. If your visit to a national park is interrupted by a government shutdown and you are unable to use our facilities or services that you have previously paid for, you will be refunded the unused portion of your trip.

Thank you for your patience. We sincerely appreciate your choosing Xanterra Parks & Resorts for your travel needs.

Welcome to Zion Lodge — the Only “In-Park” Lodging at Zion National Park

The name “Zion” means a place of peace and refuge. As a sanctuary with over 146,000 acres of cliffs, canyons, diverse plant and animal life, and uninterrupted beauty, Zion is well-named. Its massive sandstone walls, some as high as 3,800 feet, offer an opportunity for serenity and reflection for all who visit—and Zion Lodge offers the only in-park lodging inside this hiker’s paradise.

Enjoy a selection of comfortable and spacious accommodations, a year-round restaurant serving local favorites and a wide variety of ways to keep you entertained during your stay in Zion National Park.
